Prakruti Yogashala was created to combine traditional Indian knowledge with modern sciences in order to offer authentic and efficient yoga teacher training courses. Our intention is to create a strong line of teachers who take responsibility of self and the world by being a living example. Our school facilitates growth of teachers through self and collective evolution. Our international community is a support system for spiritual seekers and yoga teachers to spread the knowledge and inspire generations to come.
About Our Teachers
Ajay Ji
Ajay Ji has practiced yoga since childhood, learning from senior Iyengar and Hatha Yoga teachers. Since 2013, he's been teaching dynamic, educational classes focused on body alignment and the connections within the body. His workshops help refine asana practice, from basics to advanced poses, often using props to enhance body awareness. Ajay Ji frequently demonstrates techniques, explaining their impact on health. He has taught in many schools in India and abroad and leads yoga teacher training courses in Rishikesh.
Acharya Sadhu Sri Ji
Acharya Sadhu Sri, a distinguished figure in Rishikesh, is known for his deep commitment to Yoga Philosophy and Indian Scriptures. He holds a Master’s in Yogic Science and Philosophy, and advanced diplomas in Vedanta, Sanskrit, Buddhism, and Pali. Certified by the Shivananda Yoga Vedanta Forest Academy, he specializes in Indian Scriptures, making him a respected authority in spirituality and philosophy.
Darshan Ji
Over the last 12 years, Darshan Ji has shared knowledge on subjects like Jaina Darshan, Yoga Sutras, Samkhya, Sanskrit Mantras, Hatha and Iyengar Yoga. A former physics professor, he connects modern science with yogic sciences. After meeting various gurus and helping build ashrams to preserve Indian culture, Darshan Ji founded Prakruti Yogashala to create a strong community of like-minded teachers. For the past 8 years, he's been working to build a community where Sanatana knowledge is preserved and celebrated.
Deepak
Deepak Ji is a certified Yoga Master with over seven years of experience, specialized in Ashtanga Vinyasa and Pranayama. Trained in Rishikesh, he offers classes that blend physical strength, flexibility, mental clarity, and inner peace. His inclusive approach helps students build resilience, self-awareness, and well-being, making his classes suitable for all levels.
Yogi Harmindra Ji
Yogi Harmindra Ji specializes in Anatomy, Physiology, and Yoga Therapy. With a Master’s in Yoga from Dev Sanskriti University, Haridwar, he has over six years of teaching experience. A Rishikesh local, he has practiced yoga since childhood and is passionate about sharing his knowledge, particularly in addressing posture imbalances, motionless life disorders, and physical therapy.
Bhagyashree Ji
Born into a family rooted in Sanatana Dharma,Bhagyashree Ji was raised in a spiritual environment. While attending a reputed convent school for a modern education, she was equally immersed in Sanskrit shlokas, Upanishads, and Vedic chanting at home. With her father's transferable job, she traveled across India, experiencing diverse spiritual practices and visiting temples and ashrams. Introduced to Indian classical dance by my mother, she also carries the responsibility of continuing her ancestors' contributions to spiritual literature and Sanatana Dharma. She teaches philosophy, mantra chanting, and meditation at Prakruti Yogashala.
